In the Louisville airport I just saw ESPN's special on Ricky Williams. His mother said she and Ricky grew up without a father, and told him this cycle has to stop!
Mom- you're right!

But Wow what a day!! And it's only Thursday.
Today I visited Central High School, where my mother attended, and my grandfather, William Kean, coached Central High to 3 national championships 1952, 1955, & 1956 (yes, National because of segregation). He became Kentucky's all time winningest coach along with Adoph Rupp.
I Reminded the students that I was just like them, $@& years ago, never imagining the amazing things God would do in my life.

I rode down Grand Avenue, the house I was born in, and 5 houses down from where Muhummed Ali grew up also.

Immediately from there I went to my elementary school. Couldn't believe how small it was! The kids had so much energy. It was crazy.

I've been coming home off and on for the Ky Derby for 15 years now.  I've never come back and had this much fun with the kids that will be Louisville's, and maybe the world's next leaders.

Tomorrow will be even more fun.

Gotta get some rest because out Father Knows Best is at 9am, and then I know the celeb game's gonna be nuts!

If youre in town Ballard High School....4pm.

Where winning happens!
