There's a difference in happiness and joy. Joy doesn't
necessarily need laughter or comfort. Happiness needs some set of positive
circumstances to validate it.
Just when you think
God is not listening or interested in your situation due to other things that
are going on in your life negatively, He shows you who is charge and His power
is activated by our faith and trust in Him alone.
We can't look at circumstances to dictate how we see our
lives, but we have to have a His perspective on the situation(s).
